THE ARROW OF THE LORD’S VICTORY

KEEP STRIKING!

Elisha, a type of the kingdom in spirit and power poured out on believers at Pentecost.  When Israel was under attack in the days of Elisha, the servant of the Lord was the key to national breakthrough. But the battle had to be waged in the spirit and faith.  The king stopped short of the breakthrough.  

And Elisha said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then he said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.” 2 Kings 13:15-17

Our watch focus is on our national elections.  We lay hold of the arrows of prayer and fasting and strike the ground again for complete victory in the spiritual and political battle confronting our national future.  We pray for recovery of traditional foundations, health, and security, in every sector of American life. 

Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped.  And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
2 Kings 13:18-19

We agree with heaven for breakthrough, for a turn back to Christian faith, and recovery of the fear of the Lord across America. We join again with all the prayers of the righteous for America by this and previous generations. God save America. God heal America. God restore America. God bless America and fulfill You good plans for her!

BREAK THE POWER OF WITCHCRAFT

Elisha was commissioned to bring Jezebel’s reign to an end in Israel. Jezebel is a picture of idolatry and every evil intention the Lord hates. Another Jezebel made her way into the church in the days of John’s apostleship. “Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.” Rev. 2:20. The spirit exemplified by both women is at work across many sectors that govern our lives in various ways from federal and state bureaus, institutionalized education, corporate media, social welfare, our legislative and legal agencies, and our churches. From the promotion and exaltation of abortion to gain and maintain political power, to the corruption of our courts to prosecute political enemies and Christians, to perversion of such primary truths as gender, to spiritual compromise and the actual use of witches, incantations, and curses, against the righteous.  The spirit embodied by Jezebel is manifest today in the seats of influence and political and religious authority. Our prayer is to cleanse every idol altar and break this stronghold off the hearts and minds of Americans.

God used a warrior named Jehu, a most unlikely candidate, to be king, and His apostle John, to bring down that stronghold. We pray God release His anointing upon the vessels He has chosen and bring them to victory and influence in this election cycle. We pray for awakening, repentance, return to righteousness, and godly political participation by every believer.  

Now a watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel, and he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, “I see a company of men.” … So the watchman reported, saying, “He went up to them and is not coming back; and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously!” …And Jehu looked up at the window, and said, “Who is on my side? Who?” So two or three eunuchs looked out at him…. Then he said, “Throw her down.” 2 Kings 9.

RESTORATION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS AND ‘REASON’ IN LEADERS AT EVERY LEVEL

Spiritual principalities and powers of wickedness in high places are at work and must be confronted. We pray for a change as in the example of Nebuchadnezzar under the direction and influence of Daniel. God removed the world’s most powerful king to show that God gives men the privilege of power and anyone who receives that power is expected to recognize they are His servants and rule accordingly.  

‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’ Daniel 4:17

We pray for confrontation, conviction, and conversion, of those who have been given power in every sector. God gave Nebuchadnezzar over to his delusions until he came to his senses and repented.

“I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, “What have You done?” At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.” Daniel 4:34-37

We bind the spiritual and natural forces of aggression that would bring about a storm of fury and confusion surrounding this election. We take authority over every evil and illegal trick to subvert the vote.  We pray God raise up the righteous and pull down the wicked in every elected office this November.  We pray a recovery of common sense and moral compass in the hearts of every person holding elected and appointed office. “Lord, give us leaders such that it will be to YOUR GLORY to give us the victory through them.” 

Jeremiah 8:19; 21-22, “Listen! The voice, The cry of the daughter of my people From a far country: “Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her King in her?” For the hurt of the daughter of my people I am hurt. I am mourning; Astonishment has taken hold of me. Is there no balm in Gilead, Is there no physician there? Is there no recovery for the health of the daughter of my people?”

Luke‬ ‭18‬:‭6‬-‭8‬, “Now there was a widow in that city; and she came to him, saying, ‘Get justice for me from my adversary.’ And he would not for a while; but afterward he said within himself, ‘Though I do not fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow troubles me I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.’” Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?  I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.”

Luke 8:23-25, “But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm. But He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!” 

Isaiah 65:9-10;23-24, ““I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, And from Judah an heir of My mountains; My elect shall inherit it, And My servants shall dwell there. Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, And the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, For My people who have sought Me. They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the LORD, And their offspring with them. . . . “It shall come to pass That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.”
