40 DAY FAST FOR VICTORY, September 3rd to October 12th Week Six

Thanksgiving to God: Pray for Hurricane Relief and Recovery and Pray for Israel on Yom Kippur

Thanksgiving: As we end our corporate fast we will give thanks to the Lord. It is in the midst of challenging times that we want to unleash the power of thanksgiving and praise! Praise brings the Presence of the Lord into our atmosphere for us individually, for our families, churches, cities, regions, and nations! Thanksgiving keeps our focus firmly on the Lord in unstable circumstances and keeps us from bitterness and darkened thinking. As so many are looking to recover from catastrophic hurricanes in Western North Carolina and Florida, as we enter into a critical election season, and as we see Israel further embroiled in conflict, we approach the King of Glory and creator of all things ever more with thanksgiving and praise. In Acts 16 Paul and Silas were found in prison having a praise party after being beaten and persecuted! In this hour, be filled with the fullness of joy and unwavering faith in the goodness of God. In John 10:10 the Lord himself tells us ‘The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.’ Let’s enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. (Psalm 100:4) Lift up a shout of praise to the God who gives us victory! Make a habitation for His glorious presence with your praises and celebration. Aggressively give thanks and praise Him for His victory! Bless the Lord and begin to enumerate His exceedingly abundant blessings, expressing gratitude for His goodness and mercy toward us.

Psalm 22:3 “Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.”

Psalm 106:1, “O give thanks to the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.”

Psalm 100:4, Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Psalm 149:6, Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

Psalm 106:1, Praise the Lord! Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

Psalm 100, Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Relief, Recovery, and Protection from Hurricanes, Weather Events, and Catastrophes: We remember today as the Day of Atonement and come on the basis of the atoning work of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, on Calvary asking that He would be gracious to us. We watch and pray over our city, region, and nation and break the arrows of the enemy who would seek to kill, steal and destroy. We take authority over any additional catastrophic weather and bind back destruction. We ask that the Holy Spirit would fill the breach and bind up the wounds of those devastated by these disasters and supernaturally answer needs of the hurting, desperate, and alone with comfort, practical aid, and hope.

We further take authority over any attack on the United States domestic or foreign. We pray and declare as the Lord taught us in

Matthew 6:10, ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ We commission angelic hosts to protect and defend the Church and deliver us from the evil one.

Psalm 27:5, For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

Acts 3:19, Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Genesis 15:1, After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

Luke 8:17, For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.

Daniel 2:22, He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.

Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 91:7, A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

Israel on Yom Kippur: Today is the holiest day of the year on the Hebrew calendar, Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. We pray for Israel and all our Jewish friends across the world for protection and blessing as they seek the Lord on the Feast of Trumpets. They have been in a state of war since the attack on southern Israel a year ago and are now heavily engaged in conflict with terrorist organizations surrounding them in the region. May they may experience the blessing of God for supernatural protection and peace for Israel and an undivided Jerusalem.

Lev. 23:1, 27-28, "The LORD said to Moses, "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies…'The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.  Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD your God.'"

Lev. 17:11, "For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one's life."

This week we enter the Feast of Tabernacles, the prophetic celebration of the future final ingathering into the New Jerusalem at the end of the age.
As we approach the end of our corporate Fast, enter into critical elections and look to recover from catastrophic hurricanes in Florida and Western North Carolina we approach the King of Glory and creator of all things with thanksgiving and praise.
Pray for the people recovering from the heartbreaking, devastating floods caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North and South Carolina and parts of Tennessee and Georgia.
We pray for personal and family victory and a breaking of every generational curse on our family lines through the power of the blood of Jesus.
According to the pattern in Joel, we are giving 40 days to fast and cry out to the Lord, between the porch and the altar, that the Lord will restore our land.
