Our watch focus this week is for HARVEST RAIN and for an umbrella of national protection against military and cyber threats.
 
Revival rain of repentance and return fall on America: First in the natural then in the spiritual. This year Israel experienced the period known as “the latter rain,” rainfall unlike any of the past 30 years. The rainfall record was broken in two weeks of continuous down pour. Scripture says, “Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone…Yes, their children shall see it and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord…I will whistle for them and gather them, for I will redeem them; and they shall increase as they once increased. “So, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and they shall walk up and down in His name,” says the Lord (Zechariah 10). We ask for RAIN of the Holy Spirit to flood our land.

God is pouring out revival rain on many hearts and in various places across America. We intercede for “MORE, LORD! Send repentance and transformation from the church house to the White House to the marketplace in America.”

We pray for spiritual rain on Israel: “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn (Zechariah 12)…In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness” (Zechariah 13:1).
 
We thank the Lord for spiritual rain, especially on our college youth, and on the youth of Israel called into the war for their survival. We pray for miracles, signs, and wonders, demonstrating the presence and power of the King of the Whole Earth, the Lion of Judah.

So, rejoice, O sons of Zion, and be glad in the Lord your God; for He has given you the early rain for your vindication. And He has poured down for you the rain, the early and latter rain as before…It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. I will display wonders in the sky and on the earth, blood, fire and columns of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And it will come about that whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be delivered; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, as the Lord has said, even among the survivors whom the Lord calls (Joel 2).

An Umbrella of Protection from national threats:
NATO European partners and President Putin are engaged in increasing tension over Ukraine use of western missiles and other armaments being deployed against territory inside Russia. Simultaneously, a naval flotilla of three Russian ships and a nuclear-powered submarine arrived in Cuba this week ahead of military exercises in the Caribbean. While the exercises aren’t considered a threat to the U.S., American ships have been deployed to shadow the Russians. Additionally, a whole nation threat may be anticipated from the inadequate infrastructure, enormous industry demand, and lack of adequate cyber and physical security around the U.S. power grid. In March, the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response said “implementation strategies and adoption guidelines will be developed to help drive the voluntary adoption of uniform cybersecurity practices across the country” in order to “tighten the security of our electric distribution systems and distributed energy resources” and reduce “the risk from China, Russia, and other nation states with an interest in sowing chaos via targeted, timely cyber attacks.” This is an area that has been severely overlooked. A grid failure would mean immediate, widespread chaos and panic.

We pray for supernatural intervention and national protection from bad actors intending America harm. We decree the promise of Isaiah to king Hezekiah when Jerusalem was under threat: “He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shield, nor build a siege mound against it. By the way that he came, by the same shall he return; and he shall not come into this city,’ says the Lord. ‘For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake and for My servant David’s sake.’… So, the king of Assyria departed and went away, returned home” (Isaiah 37:33-35,37).
 
“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday” (Psalm 91:5-6).
 
Lord Jesus, Captain of Angel Armies, as You went out and destroyed the Assyrians arrayed against Your people in Hezekiah’s day of distress, we ask You to guard and defend us. We pray the prayer of Daniel, “O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name” (Daniel 9:19).
