Weekly Watch Focus:  Pray for European Economic Crisis

FRIDAY, December 9, 2011.
There is a high risk that the European currency, the Euro, may collapse. Nations such as Greece, Portugal, Spain, and Italy are in crisis mode financially. The results of economic collapse in these nations would generate extreme turmoil across the world, endangering the world markets and even damaging the weakened U.S. economy.
Pray for the leaders of these nations, especially Germany and France, as they try to work themselves out of this financial crisis brought on by decades of profligate spending and cradle-to-grave social welfare programs. Pray for wise counsel to prevail as these nations seek measures that will bring spending under control and avert the pending economic collapse.

Proverbs 22:7 The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender.

Proverbs 6:6-8 Go to the ant, sluggard; consider her ways and be wise; who having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provides herfood in the summer and gathers her food in the harvest.

Proverbs 24:3-4Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; and by knowledge the rooms shall befilled with all precious and pleasant riches.

Proverbs 12:11He who tills his land will have plenty of bread, but he who pursues worthless things lacks sense.
