Weekly Watch Focus: Divine Protection for all Police and other Law Enforcement

Friday, June 26, 2020—Psalm 34:7 tells us that “the angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him and delivers them.”

In this season where our nation is facing challenges from the coronavirus to unrest in our cities, pray for divine protection for our nation, our cities, and our families. Cry out to the Lord God, the Captain of Angel Armies, to release His invisible armed forces, His awesome angelic cohorts to protect our police, protect our children, and protect all our public gatherings from violence and contagion. Thank the Lord for the divine assistance that scriptures promise us and welcome His angelic help in this hour.

As you pray, put a special prayer shield of protection and blessing over our young people who are graduating from high school or college. May the Lord’s divine guidance be over their lives, and His wisdom and favor to go with them as they transition to the next season of their lives.

Part 2:  Coronavirus

Pray for the states that are experiencing a rise in infections. Bind back the coronavirus and ask the Lord to continue to give us victory over spread of this disease. Thank the Lord for the recent economic progress and pray for a smooth recovery and protection as many states and regions lift restrictions on businesses and gatherings. We pray that the Lord would give our nation grace to pursue, overtake, and recover all that was lost as our nation took measures to mitigate the spread of the virus. Pray that the Lord would bring supernatural increase and health to our national economy.

Part 3: 2020 National Elections

Pray for the Lord’s angelic hosts to surround the 2020 elections. Bind fraud, corruption, and media manipulation. Pray for supernatural favor for those who are pro-life and honor our godly foundations. "God give us leaders such that is would be to Your glory to give us the victory through them!"

Hebrews 1:14, “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?”

Psalm 91:11-12, “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.”

1 Timothy 2:1-4, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Psalm 75:7, "But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another."

Exodus 18:21, "Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens."

Matthew 18:18-20, “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Isaiah 33:22, “For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us.”

Proverbs 8:15, “By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.”
